What you should know

Help

  • Approved cooks

    Mandatory checks cover identity, food safety, allergen awareness, insurance, an interview, a payout account, profile quality and the provider terms.

  • Allergies

    You must say whether anyone eating has an allergy. If the answer is yes, name the allergens. The cook has to acknowledge that information before they can accept.

  • Your address

    Your full address is hidden from the cook until the booking is confirmed. The cook’s home postcode is never shown on the public profile.

  • Card payments

    Card numbers stay with Stripe. Chefup stores the booking, the payment state and the messages.
